Wittman Wins Re-Election

1st district Congressman Rob Wittman wins his re-election bid according to a projection made by the Associated Press. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports Wittman had nearly 60% of the vote with Democratic challenger Herb Jones garnering just over 39%. All election results are unofficial until they are certified by the State Board of Elections. Wittman was first elected to Congress in 2006.
