Whiting Creek Boat Ramp Gets Improved Parking

The Whiting Creek boat ramp at Locust Hill is upgraded with an area to accommodate boat trailer parking. According to the Southside Sentinel boat owners previously had to park trailers on the side of a very narrow road leading up to the ramp. The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors has tried to get the project done for several years and it was funded last November. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last week.
