White Stone Donates To BGCNN

The White Stone Town Council voted unanimously to donate $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck in Kilmarnock. Town manager Patrick Frere tells the Rappahannock Record the club had made the request prior to the 2023 budget approval but he had failed to bring it up for discussion or add it to the budget so the Council voted to make the donation. Frere says this is the first time the club asked for funding which will support the club’s after-school programs.
