The Westmoreland County School Board is working on details for a new student cell phone policy. According to Westmoreland News the board created a policy outline last month which was presented at a public meeting. The proposed policy has 3 tiers of violations with the third resulting in the student not being allowed to have the phone for either the semester or school year. The board will vote on the policy at its meeting this month.
