Westmoreland County dips into its reserves to pay for a road project in Placid Bay. According to Westmoreland News it’s because the funding for the work on Lakeview Drive that lawmakers believed was scheduled for 2025 but county administrator Norm Risavi says it was scheduled for 2028. That means a delay in the revenues to pay the county’s share. The Board approved allocating funding now which could be as much as $300,000.
