Warsaw To Require New Police Officers To Sign Contracts

The Town of Warsaw is taking action to reduce turnover in the police department. According to News On The Neck Chief Joan Kent require new hires to sign a three-year contract. Kent says implementing contracts makes sense as the department makes investments in new hires for both equipment and training. The town lost 3 officers over the last 2 years with the most recent departure happening about a week ago.
