VSP Cruiser Light Bars To Add Red Color

Virginia State Police are making changes to the light bars on their patrol vehicles. The all-blue lights will have red lights added after a Virginia Tech Transportation Institute study found adding the lights makes the vehicles be seen sooner. Officials say the new lights will be phased in on new patrol vehicles so you won’t see the red light right away.
