Virginia Unemployment Down Again In July

Virginia’s July unemployment rate is down by one tenth of one percent to 2.7%. This rate continues to track below the national rate at 3.5%. Virginia’s lowest rate was 2.1% in 2000. According to Governor Glenn Youngkin’s office nearly 100,000 more Virginians became employed since the end of January when the rate was 3.4%. Go to vec.virginia.gov for more details.
