Virginia To Start Sending Out Tax Rebates

The Virginia Department of Taxation will soon begin sending one-time rebates out to eligible taxpayers. 8 News reports the payments are up to $250 per individual and up to $500 per married couple. You may not receive a payment if you owe money to certain government agencies and institutions. The first rebates will be issued this Friday and all will be issued by Nov. 1. Beginning next Monday you can go to tax.virginia.gov/rebate to check your issuance status.
