Virginia Ranks In Top 10 For Beekeeping

Virginia makes it into the top 10 for beekeeping according to a rankling by Lawn Love’s 2023’s Best States for Beekeeping. According to the Augusta Free Press Virginia ranked fifth for number of beekeepers associations and sixth for number of honey suppliers. Lawn Love used 15 metrics including honey production, colony loss and apiculture classes to compile its list. California topped the ranking followed by New York, North Dakota, Texas and Ohio.
