Virginia Mortgage Relief Program Expands Maximum Aid Amount

If you’re facing financial hardship and are behind on your mortgage you could now qualify for up to $40,000 in assistance from the Virginia Mortgage Relief Program. Officials announced the maximum amount is raised from $30,000 and there is no cap on the number of months past due. If you previously applied for the program but were deemed ineligible you’re advised to contact Virginia Housing to begin the appeal process.
