Virginia Awards More Than $12 Million To Reduce Homelessness

2 area organization receive awards from Virginia’s Housing Trust Fund Homeless Reduction Grants program.Bay Aging received 2 grants, one for its Site Permanent Supportive Housing program and one for its Rapid Rehousing progtam. The Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team received a grant for its Rapid Re-housing program. Funding will support rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing and support services to underserved populations. Over $12 million was awarded to 68 projects across Virginia.
