Virginia’s new transportation map is now available.
The Virginia Department of Transportation said Thursday, that more than 2 million maps are now available at state welcome centers and by request at safety rest areas. State maps also are available at VDOT offices across the state.
The new map features the centennial of the state’s forestry system with pictures and information about several state forests.
A map showing the state’s highway system is required by Virginia law and has been published every year since 1922.
