VFB Says Plants Make Great Holiday Gifts

The Virginia Farm Bureau is reminding holiday shoppers that holiday plants grown in the commonwealth make festive holiday gifts. Becky Heath, who owns Brent’s & Becky’s Bulbs in Gloucester County says having something beautiful and alive that smells so good takes care of the winter doldrums. Poinsettias are thought to be the traditional holiday plant but Virginia gift givers have plenty of other options as well including nulbs that blossom into delicate white flowers or large colorful blooms.
