The Virginia Department of Transportation announces changes coming to Northumberland Highway after another car crashed into Ye Old Book Shoppe last month. According toi the Northumberland Echo the DOT will install additional signage, add dashed yellow skip “puppy” tracks to help guide drivers around the curve plus lighting will be upgraded to LED technology. 4 vehicles have crashed into the business over the last 14 months.
