The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public hearing at the May 25 Lancaster County Bard of Supervisors meeting on the Secondary Six Year Plan proposed for 2024 through 2029. According to the Rappahannock Record the plan provides nearly $192,000 for road improvements which does not include regular maintenance such as mowing, patching and snow removal. Supervisor Bill Lee also asked the DOT to review the speed limit on Irvington Road at Dream Fields.
