Reporting to the Lancaster Board of Supervisors, Virginia Department of Transportation resident Engineer David Beale indicated upcoming projects. Will be include a restructuring of the entrance to the Carter Cove Dr. from John Neck Road in North Weems. The intersection is a place of concern to the county as the significant dip between roads may cause damage to trucks or boats hoping to access the Carter Cove area. While widening Carter Cove Dr. remains a possibility, Beale said work on the dip is the first step.
