Vault Privies Ban Lifted In Richmond County

The Richmond County Board of Supervisors lifts the ban on vault privies that was enacted 2 years ago. According to News on the Neck the decision was made after the Board held a public hearing last week. The matter is important to members of the Amish community who want vault privies for their schools to keep the facilities close to their traditional way of operation. It is now up to localities for enacting any new regulations.
