For the first time since 2012, the Urbanna Town Council has updated the town’s comprehensive plan as it relates to the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act. It’s been more than 11 years since the last update, and during those years there have been a lot of changes in laws and regulations. Until now though, those changes have not been reflected in Urbanna town ordinances or in the town’s comprehensive plan. State law requires regular reviews of any Bay Act language. The vote to make the changes was unanimous.
