Urbanna Planning Commission Talks Restaurants And Ponies

The Urbanna Planning Commission met recently, and members voted to recommend approval of a Special Use Permit to construct and operate a restaurant with outdoor tables and seating on the Urbanna Town Green. The commission also recommended approval of a special use permit to keep “a miniature pony” at a home on Kent Street. Both of those recommendations are now on their way to town council for final approval. That won’t happen though until the next town council meeting, which is now set to be held at 6pm on January 11th. Meanwhile, no public hearings have been set for either the restaurant or mini pony applications.
