Urbanna Looks To Feds For Pool Contruction Funding

As Urbanna lawmakers look at funding sources for a new community swimming pool they may turn to the federal government for help. According to the Southside Sentinel the town plans to apply for a grant funded by the National Park Service and administered through the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. Lawmakers also are looking at a user membership fee system to help pay the $800,000 construction cost.
