Urbanna Considering More Apartments For Commercial District

Urbanna’s commercial district may be getting more apartments if the Town Council amends the area’s zoning ordinance. According to the Southside Sentinel the amendment allowing 6 residences per lot is in response to comments by council members, planning commission members and citizens. A public hearing on the change is set for 7:00 p.m. next Thursday at the new Urbanna Town Hall at 390 Virginia St., Suite B.
