Suspect Sought In Tappahannock Armed Robbery

Tappahannock Police are looking for a man who held up Wendy’s restaurant early Monday morning. According to investigators the man was armed with a handgun and forced employees into the freezer then demanded money from the manager. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was hurt. The Essex and King and Queen Sheriff’s Offices are assisting in the investigation. Contact Tappahannock Police if you have information on the suspect’s whereabouts.
