An arrest is made in a fatal shooting last August in the Carter’s Cove subdivision of Gloucester County. 18-year-old Skyler Merenda was killed and a 20-year-old man was injured at the home in the 4300 block of Bufflehead Drive where the 2 lived. According to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office a grand jury indicted the suspect last Monday for first-degree murder, attempted murder, and armed burglary with intent to commit murder.
