Suspect In Federal Firearms Case Gets 10 years

It’s nearly 10 years in federal prison for a Lancaster man taking a plea deal on federal weapons charges. Prosecutors say Shadonta Lateef Beane pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to court records Beane messaged an FBI informant multiple times in September 2020 to negotiate the sale of a submachine gun, which he offered to sell with a 50-round drum magazine.
