State Parks Recruiting Youth Candidates

Virginia State Parks is recruiting candidates for the Youth Conservation Corps program. Eligible applicants must be between the ages of 14 and 17 and going into at least their first year of high school. Crew members will live and work in one of 42 Virginia State Parks for a two-week session while completing trail maintenance, basic construction and park beautification projects led by adult crew leaders and park staff. Applications are accepted until March 15. Room and board are provided, and crew members will get paid $750 at the end of the two-week session.
