Second House Of Delegates Election Lawsuit Tossed

A federal judge dismisses a second lawsuit seeking to force another House of Delegates election this year because redistricting wasn’t completed before the 2021 general election. The judge agreed with the Virginia Attorney General’s Office saying the plaintiff didn’t have standing to bring the suit. Last month a federal appeals court upheld the dismissal of the first lawsuit over the House elections. The plaintiff in the second suit says he will not appeal.
