Sandy Point Residents Complain About Truck Traffic

Some Sandy Point residents are fed up with through-truck traffic on Rosa Bran Road and a portion of Skipjack Road and they want the Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors to put a stop to it. According to Westmoreland News the residents petitioned the board to restrict heavy truck traffic on those roads. After discussions the board passed a resolution for an alternate truck route which now needs to be approved by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
