Saluda Family Dollar Denied By Middlesex County Supervisors

The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors rejects a permit application to build a Family Dollar store on the east side of Saluda. According to the Southside Sentinel the 3-2 vote was taken after a public hearing where several spoke against building the store. Last month the Middlesex County Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions that include reviewing design renderings. Planning and Zoning Director Dave Kretz also recommended approval.
