The Richmond County Board of Supervisors is moving its Commissioner of Revenue and Treasurer’s office to the former Coggin Furniture building in Warsaw. The officer currently are located in the basement level of the Richmond County Administration Office, which is also in Warsaw. The Industrial Development Authority of Richmond County bought the COG and building from CNG Partners in late 2021 for a little more than $570,000. Chris Sanders and his family owned and operated the Coggin Furniture for more than 75 years and were an integral part of the small business community. In richmond county but sanders decided to close talking furniture in april of 2021 because of the pandemic’s impact on his business.
