RGH Earns Golden Lobe award For Stroke Care

Rappahannock General Hospital recently received an award for quick response to stroke patients coming to the RGH Emergency Department. According to the Rappahannock Record this award recognizes facilities for providing excellence in stroke care. RGH currently holds The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and the American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Primary Stroke Certification. The hospital underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review in April 2022.
