Reedville Residents Want Drivers To Slow Down

Reedville residents are calling for greater speed limit enforcement on Main Street and Fleeton Road. The Rappahannock Record reports over 2 dozen residents met last month with county adminisrtators and law enforcement to hammer out ways for getting drivers to slow down. Virginia Department of Transportation resident engineer David Beale said there is what he called “good compliance” with the posted speeds according to traffic studies completed in 2011, 2014 and the latest in July of this year.
