RCC Scholarship Honors Local Educator Judith Straughan Harding

Two grandchildren of beloved educator Judith Harding recently established a scholarship at Rappahannock Community College in her memory. Dr. John Harding and Ms. Marion Carey Harding honor their grandmother’s strength, love of her children, and dedication to the education of young people in Northumberland County through this scholarship. Recipients are students from Northumberland or Lancaster County who are resuming their education after an interruption for family or financial reasons. Students enrolled in RCC’s Teacher Education or nursing-related programs are especially encouraged to apply.
