The Mathews County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to hold a public hearing on Masrch 28 to discuss the expenditure of nearly $308,000to repair structural issues at the Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill on Gwynn’s Island. The Gazette-Journal reports the hearing at 6:00 p.m. at Mathews High School. The buiding is owned by the county but the restaurant owners were ordered to pay for the repairs. They issued a response but that hasn’t been disclosed.
