A crash in Westmoreland County last Thursday takes a passenger’s life. According to State Police it happened at the intersection of Oldhams Rd. and Sandy Point Rd. when a SUV was struck by a tractor-trailer. The passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the SUV. He died at the scene. The SUV driver was hospitalized for what were described as serious injuries. Investigators say she is facing charges. The truck driver was also critically injured.
