Omega Partner Launches Emergency Response Team

Ocean Harvesters, an exclusive fishing partner of Omega Protein, will deploy an emergency response team to respond to incidents like net tears and fish spills. Prior to this announcement, third party contractors were used to help clean up any spills or other accidents. Now the company’s own vessels will respond. Ocean Harvesters says it strives every day to be a responsible steward of the Chesapeake Bay, and this announcement goes toward that effort.
