Old Northumberland Jail Reopening For Tours

You will again get a chance to tour the Old Northumberland Jail as the Northumberland County Historical Society announced it will reopen it in conjunction with the 2023 Heathsville Farmers Markets. According to the Rappahannock Record the Markets will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on third Saturdays, April through October. This will be the first time the jail has been open to the public since the start of the pandemic.
