Old Ferry Road Bridge Reopening Delayed Until May 8

The Virginia Department of Transportation is now delaying restarting marine openings at the Old Ferry Road bridge over Milford Haven in Mathews County until May 8. Openings will be limited to six times a day on a temporary basis. When the bridge is open drivers should plan to be stopped for approximately 30 minutes. If no marine traffic is present at a scheduled time, no opening will occur.
