Northumberland housing voucher applications due October 1

The Vir­ginia Hous­ing Devel­op­ment Author­ity (VHDA) and Northum­ber­land Depart­ment of Social Ser­vices (DSS) will open the online Hous­ing Choice Voucher Wait­ing List Octo­ber 1 for Northum­ber­land County. The pro­gram will take appli­ca­tions from 1 to 4 p.m. The online appli­ca­tion allows res­i­dents to apply at their con­ve­nience from any com­puter with inter­net access,starting Octo­ber 1.

The appli­ca­tion is not com­pat­i­ble with smart phones, iPhones, Black­Ber­ries, tablets or other per­sonal dig­i­tal assis­tant devices. to Apply go to vhda.apply4housing.com.Applicants will get a con­fir­ma­tion num­ber after com­plet­ing less than 20 ques­tions.
