Northumberland County’s Spring Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Collection event is April 30 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Northumberland County Middle School Bus Parking lot off Rt. 360 in Heathsville. It is open to residents and property owners in Northumberland County only. Prohibited items include latex paint, car batteries, radioactives, smoke detectors, medical waste, medications, ammunition and explosives. Hazardous waste generated by businesses will not be accepted.
