The calendar makes sure that the process rolls along as the Northumberland County School Board has started preparations for 2024-25 with the approval of a budget calendar. According to the Rappahannock Record, the calendar designates October 3-November 1 as a period of seeking budget input from the board, leadership team, school employees, students, family and the community, said Letizia. Preliminary budget discussion and a first public hearing are slated for November 13, the first budget workshop for the board will be held November 20 and a joint budget workshop with the board of supervisors is set for November 29.
