Northumberland County BOS & School Board To Meet On Budget

The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors and the Northumberland County School Board will meet on May 5 to hammer out budget issues with the division’s school board. According to the Rappahannock Record supervisors want more clarification on supplemental appropriations requested by the schools related to federal money including the CARES Act along with the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund. The Board tabled action on the appropriations until after the meeting.
