Northumberland County BOS Passes STR Permit Ordinance

The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors passes an ordinance requiring short-term rental operators to obtain a conditional use permit. The Northumberland Echo reports the ordinance comes after homeowners pushed dupervisors for months by making their voices heard to the Board, the Planning Commission, and County staff. The permit requirement ordinance passed unanimaously by the board applies to short term rental properties zoned R-3, Restricted.
