Northumberland County BOS Approves Camping Ordinance Changes

The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors approves changes to public camping regulations. The Rappahannock Record reports the changes include a separate recreational vehicle ordinance removing it from the tent camping regulations and changing “travel trailer” to “recreational vehicle”. The board also approved increasing the maximum stay from 7 to 10 days but tabled action on tent ordinance changes due to questions about the required health department approved sanitation.
