Northumberland County BOS Again Tables Action On Solar CUP

The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors again takes no action on a conditional use permit application for a proposed 5 megawatt community solar project on Fairport Road. The Rappahannock Record reports a public hearing was held last week on the permit that was submitted by Community Power Group on May 27. A CPG representative told the Board that residents who subscribe to the community solar project could reduce their electric bills by 5-10%.
