Solar power projects in Northumberland County remain on hold after the Board of Supervisors again rejects action on a permit to build a 5 MW solar facility off Fairport Rd. in Reedville. The Northumberland Echo reports the board has been working on a solar ordinabce the site application was made last summer but 3 supervisors including Chairman Richard Haynie cast no votes. One supervisors said they want someone that is in a neutral position to come and talk to them regarding solar.
