NorCo BOS Holding Public Hearing On Firearms Ordinance Repeal

The Northumberland Board of Supervisors is holding a public hearing on April 13 meeting on repealing an ordinance prohibiting people from transporting, possessing, or carrying loaded shotguns or rifles in vehicles on public streets, roads, or highways within the county. According to the Northumberland Echo a repeal means hunters won’t be required to remove all shells from their firearms, including the magazines, while traveling on public roadways. The board will vote omn the repeal after the hearing.
