No Election Issues In Virginia

Virginia Election Commissioner Susan Beales said the department received no specific reports on Tuesday of election interference or voter intimidation from any local election officials or volunteer poll watchers. Beales told WAVY there were electronic poll books issues in some Central Virginia localities but those were resolved and voting went smoothly. A record number of Virginians registered to vote ahead of the election and thanks to a new law in Virginia many more registeted yesterday at their polling place and cast a provisional ballot .
