NNEC Reports Of Phone Scam

Northern Neck Electric Cooperative announced it was notified by several members that they have received a call where they are told the coop has been bought by Dominion Energy and they must now pay a surcharge or service will be disconnected. A coop spokesman says they have not been purchased by Dominion Energy so these calls are scams. The spokesman asks that you share this information with neighbors, friends, and family to help protect them from this scam.
