MPPDC Brings In $23M Since 2020

The Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission announced it has helped bring in $23 million in grants since 2020 to develop programs for the region. According to an article posted to Fight The Flood Virginia this includes a $1.5 million award to aid private property owners with flooding issues. The district covers Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King William, Mathews, and Middlesex counties along with the towns of Tappahannock, Urbanna, and West Point.
